Anyway, here's the thing. If you want to link your blog to your Facebook or Twitter or any other social media site, you will need your blog's RSS Feed URL. I think I'll just assume that's the first time you've heard the term as I was when I stumbled upon it after searching around the web and skip the technical mumbo jumbo.
DISCLAIMER: I am NOT a marketer/representative/advocate for either TwitterFeed or NetworkedBlogs. This is merely the easiest tutorial I can make to help people link their blogs to social media sites. I am in no way profiting from this post.
So here's what I did to successfully link my blog to my Facebook and Twitter account.
1)You can get yourself started by creating an account ( it's free) with TwitterFeed .
I found many websites as well as applications on Facebook itself such as NetworkedBlogs which are useful in their own way but I would have to say TwitterFeed was the most beginner friendly. The best thing about it is that you are able to automatically link your favorite site to your blog. They support more than just Facebook or Twitter.
2) After that fill in your email address and preferred password.
3)This next step asks you for your blog's RSS Feed Url like I mentioned above however, TwitterFeed allows you to just enter your blog's full URL into the box and it will set up everything for you! You must enter a Feedname. I just entered the title of my blog, GitaOtaku. After all the blanks have been filled, just click on 'test feed" and you should get the "Feed Parsed" message at the bottom along with a green tick for your efforts.
5)Voila, Your're done! Next give yourself a pat on the back and start firing up your social networks with the latest happenings in your life.
